ClinicShield is designed to help Australian medical practice managers track staff credentials, AHPRA registrations, sterilisation validation records, and Medicare readiness in a single dashboard.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
When you use ClinicShield, we collect the following information:
We do not collect: patient records, clinical notes, financial data, tax file numbers, Medicare billing data, or any information directly identifying patients.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to providing the ClinicShield service.
Your compliance data is stored securely using Upstash Redis, a cloud database service hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure. Data is encrypted in transit using TLS and encrypted at rest.
Important: During the current beta period, data is stored on AWS Singapore region servers. We are working to migrate to AWS Sydney (ap-southeast-2) to ensure all data remains within Australia. We will notify beta users when this migration is complete.
By using ClinicShield, you acknowledge that your data may be stored outside Australia during the beta period in accordance with APP 8 of the Australian Privacy Principles.
Access is controlled via a unique licence key and supporting security controls appropriate to the current beta stage of the platform. We strongly recommend keeping your licence key confidential and not sharing it with unauthorised parties.
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure, in line with industry standards appropriate to the service. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm to affected individuals, we will notify affected users and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) in accordance with the Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) scheme under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
We will provide notification as soon as practicable after becoming aware of an eligible data breach, including details of the breach and recommended steps you should take in response.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
We may share data with the following service providers solely to operate ClinicShield:

We retain your compliance data for as long as your ClinicShield licence is active. If you request deletion of your data, we will permanently remove all records associated with your licence key within 30 days.

Practice managers and clinic owners remain solely responsible for ensuring their practice meets all applicable regulatory requirements.
Important: ClinicShield does not verify the accuracy of the information you enter. Red/Amber/Green status indicators are calculated solely based on the dates and data you provide. It is your responsibility to ensure all data entered is accurate and up to date.
ClinicShield does not guarantee compliance with AHPRA requirements, Medicare Australia regulations, AS 5369 sterilisation standards, or any other regulatory framework. Compliance with applicable laws and standards is the sole responsibility of the practice and its registered practitioners.
ClinicShield is provided "as is" during the beta period. Mojo Control Solutions Pty Ltd makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or fitness for purpose of the service. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from loss of data.
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Mojo Control Solutions Pty Ltd shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of ClinicShield, including, but not limited to, regulatory penalties, audit findings, loss of accreditation, or any other loss arising from reliance on the dashboard.
ClinicShield is currently in beta. Features may change, be removed, or become unavailable without notice during the beta period. We will endeavour to provide reasonable notice of significant changes.
We may update this Privacy Policy and Disclaimer from time to time. We will notify active users of material changes via email. Continued use of ClinicShield after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
